1. Have a vision.
You can't achieve something if you don't know what it is! It is important you know how or what you want look like when you lose 10kgs, 20kgs, 30kgs. Do your research pull out your old photos and keep them where you can seen them.
2. Give yourself permission to be different.
You will be drinking sparkling water in a champagne glass while others are having champagne. You will be having your Cambridge protein shake in the morning while others are having a muffin and coffee. Connect to what's true for you - connect with your goal.
3. Accept and commit.
Begin where you are, with what you have - step by step towards your goal. Do what you can now. If you can only walk for 30 mins twice a week, set a goal to maintain it and then build on it.
4. Be in guard of your thoughts.
Your mind is designed to create a problem and for you to find a solution. When your mind says, "is this all you lost this week after all the effort you have put in?" Thank your mind for reminding you that every step counts.
5. Lighten up.
Make your weight loss journey fun. If you screw up - laugh at yourself, learn, and move on. After all this is your adventure how do you want to remember it?
