Enosis Day Spa
Relaxation Massage Therapy
Combine indulgence with self-maintenance.
Relaxation Massage affects your whole being physically, emotionally and mentally. By concentrating on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for improved circulation, relaxation, and pain relief, overall health maintenance and wellbeing can be achieved.
Did you know that being consistently 'stressed' depletes the adrenals, causing your immune system to suffer?
With all the pressures in our day to day lives, regular massage has become a way of getting 'concentrated relaxation' time. By relieving your system of this strain on a regular basis, you are helping to re-balance the body, mind and spirit. Massage encourages the body to produce endorphins - the natural 'happy' chemicals, as well as encouraging lymphatic movement which helps the body to eliminate toxins.
And of course, as we all know, massage can relieve muscular aches and pains, and when regular, will keep you in touch with your body and in control of your tension.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's ideal for those who suffer from chronic aches and pain, stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.
We have customised the massage to include. An essential oil back rub, which includes a natural menthol to target areas of pain. To relieve tension hot stone massage techniques are incorporated into the treatment.
It is also recommended when having a deep tissue massage that you increase your water intake after the treatment as your muscles will release toxins into the blood stream and you need to flush this out of your system.
Designed specifically for pregnant women in their second and third trimester. It is a very special time for mums- to- be and massage can be very beneficial to the health and wellbeing of not only Mum but baby as well.

Hot Stone Massage
The ancient healing art of stone massage is a method to achieve physical and spiritual balance. Hot stone therapy is a complete body, mind and soul treatment. Physically the circulation and metabolism is stimulated, mentally the client reaches a state of deep relation within minutes and spiritually the client is balanced and healing takes place.
A blend of our four favourite massages with Eastern and Western techniques. This treatment is designed to relax, relieve pain and detoxify the body.
The massage includes the use of hot stones massage techniques to relieve tension, firm pressure and slow strokes to reach the deeper layers of the muscles and the use of Ayurvedic techniques targeting the marma points to release toxins and provide relaxation.
Using only the finest essential oil blends, our treatments are designed to relax and rejuvenate, treat tired athletes, or detoxify our bodies. You can choose one of our specifically designed blends or have your therapist design one specifically for you.
During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale these essential oil molecules or absorb them through your skin. They are thought to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting the limbic system, a region of the brain known to influence the nervous system.
The use of therapeutic essential oils in massage is being explored for the following conditions:
• Dementia symptoms
• Menstrual pain
• Supportive care for people with conditions such as cancer
Manual lymphatic drainage is a very gentle massage technique used to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid (‘lymph’) – around your body. Using specific slow, light strokes, manual lymphatic drainage works on the connective tissues immediately below the skin (not the deeper muscles like remedial massage).
Manual lymphatic drainage is useful for treating a wide range* of health conditions, injuries and illnesses including:
• Arthritis (even during flare ups)
• Breast surgery (segmental, simple or total mastectomy)
• Chronic fatigue syndrome
• Dermatological conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis)
• Fluid retention
• General fatigue
• Headaches or migraines
• Low immunity
• Musculoskeletal pains and conditions
• Oedema (e.g. lymphoedema, oedema/swelling during pregnancy)
• Polycystic ovary syndrome
• Pre-surgery (to soften and relax tissues to be operated on)
• Post-surgery (to reduce healing times and scar tissue formation, and reduce chance of infection)
• Sports injuries (e.g. bruises, sprains and even fractures (in acute stage) where remedial massage is not indicated)
• Weight gain
*Please note. There are a few conditions that cannot be treated with manual lymphatic drainage, and others that will require prior consultation with your GP or primary healthcare professional. Please mention any specific medical conditions to us when you make your booking so we can be sure manual lymphatic drainage will be suitable for you.
